不是说拥有财物的人是富裕的，而是说给予他人东西的人才是富裕者。一个人究竟能给予別人什么呢？他可以把他拥有的最宝贵的东西，他的生命的一部分给予別人。但这并不一定意味着他为别人献出生命。而是她应该把他内心有生命力的东西给予別人。她应该同別人分享她的欢乐.兴趣 理解力 知识 幽默 和悲伤一筒而言之 一切在她身上有生命力的东西。通过她的给，她丰富了他人，同时在她提高自己生命感的同时，她也提高了对方的生命感。

True richness does not lie in what one clutches within one’s grasp, but in what one gives, letting it flow into the hearts of others. And what can a person give? She can offer the most precious thing she possesses — a part of her very life — to another. This does not mean she must sacrifice her life itself. Rather, she should pour forth all that is alive within her. She should share with others her joy, her passions, her understanding, her knowledge, her humour, and her sorrow — in a word, everything within her that breathes and pulses with life. Through her giving, she enriches those around her; and as she deepens her own sense of being alive, she kindles that same fire in the hearts of others.
