我开始描绘和记录我作为纳西人的家族记忆，我的呼吸和目光开始触及为我带来生命的母亲和祖母的生命和心病。雪山和高原是生养我的空间。我一直记得故乡的青阳烈日，融化的山尖雪水奔涌而下，汇聚成晶莹湖泊。我喜欢穿纳西的传统服饰，这让我想起我的母亲和我祖母。我希望我能营造这样一个关注某种生命类型存在的空间，这种生命——她们一方面信靠家庭，安顺敬神，过着角落里的人生；一方面又如同瀑布奔流，充满生的力量！一命女性博物馆

I began to trace and record my family memories as a daughter of the Naxi people. My breath and gaze began to reach towards the lives and unspoken sorrows of my mother and grandmother — the very women who brought me into this world.

The snow-capped mountains and the high plateau — these are the spaces that nurtured and shaped me. I have never forgotten the fierce green sun of my homeland, the way the meltwater from the mountain peaks rushes down, gathering into crystalline lakes. I love to wear the traditional dress of the Naxi — it reminds me of my mother, and of my grandmother.

I hope to create a space that bears witness to a particular kind of life, a particular way of being. These are women who, on one hand, place their faith in family, living quietly and reverently in the corners of the world; and on the other, they surge forward like a waterfall — brimming with the raw, unstoppable force of life!
